| I was with boat tg 1169departed from my tho with 350 people majority the vietnameses chineses. My family was at Pulao Tengah
The people on TG1169 had been registered as Vietnamese Chinese ,actually we was 1/3 Vietnamese included 7 army officers (included myself) ,
We left VN on June 79 ,after 5 nights and 4 day journey ,we got rescued by the people on oil rig ,we had some tragic but thank God we had been saved ,
From there we had been transferred to Mersing Johor,all of us was in the football camp with one water tap supply (for hundreds people) .
We had interviewed by the High commission refugees Unit Nation ,then we had been selected to go to different camp ,Pulao Tengah ,Pulao Budong or Terenggan ,from those camp all the represents of the different Nation will choose the people and accepted them ,
Our trip gone smooth from here , my family was lucky to settled in Australia on 5th Oct 1979, |
